Troubleshoot a file upload or preview
What to check when an archive is rejected or the preview looks wrong.
Check the archive
The PCB and stencil upload forms accept ZIP, RAR or 7z archives up to 50 MB. Check the actual file size and ensure the archive opens on your computer. Use a normal, unencrypted archive containing the final production files.
Check the preview
Confirm that the fabrication package contains an outline and the expected copper layers. Check units and coordinate alignment in your exported files. If the automatic dimensions or layer count are wrong, compare with the CAD export before changing the quote options.
A preview is a reference and is not engineering approval.
Ask for help
Record the file name, archive size, browser and exact error message. Email service@diyipcb.com with a screenshot and your order or quote reference, if available. Avoid repeatedly placing orders to test an upload problem.
